incase you ever wondered how many cities provinces and landmarks there are in the world here is the anwer.... 700 smth mbs worth of txt file is nearly enough to hold all the data...
so here is the good news the data is out there some where (geonames.org) but the good person that i am i will put out a webservice for anyone to grab and to take advantage of... which will be coming along in near future hopefully... so until then take care
